Funds from the registration fee were allocated to the STRONG AS JACOB ASSOCIATION.
The Strong as Jakov association was founded on February 6, 2011, in Karlovac to help children suffering from malignant diseases and their families.
The inspiration for the foundation of the association was provided by Jakov Rubido, a thirteen-year-old who fought against leukemia and epilepsy with exceptional strength of spirit.
Funds from the registration fee will contribute to further providing support to those most in need through the activities of the association.
Many for the Rare
The initiative “Many for the Rare” represents something that no one in Croatia has undertaken yet. As a strong impetus for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, this project has the potential to significantly contribute to positioning Croatia as a center of excellence in clinical trials in this part of Europe.
The project will bring numerous benefits, including GDP growth, strengthening scientific research, and improving the healthcare system by reducing waiting lists.
It will also increase the number of clinical trials, create new jobs, and attract international investors.
In addition to all these advantages, “Many for Rare” symbolizes hope and change, providing patients and their families with a new opportunity for a better life. This initiative has the potential to become a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of community and showing how big hearts can influence the creation of a better tomorrow.
The Many for the Rare is organized by Proqlea together with the Croatian Association for Rare Diseases. So far, they have organized three panel discussions with representatives of the professional community and associations, and now we want to expand this topic to the wider public.

- 09:00 h – Beach volleyball tournament for volleyball clubs in Zagreb with the awarding of cups and medals.
- 16:30 h – Race for children
A short course (500m) adapted for children of all ages. Each child who participates receives a starting package and a medal as a sign of gratitude and support. - 17:00 h – Professional 5km race
Our ambassador will run for 24 hours and will start his race the day before. This will motivate all passers-by to join the event.
For the race, it is necessary to pay the entry fee on the portal and each runner will receive a starting package and a timer. This will help us to display the results transparently and award prizes according to the gender and age of the competitors.The entry fee will cover the costs of the organization, and any surplus will be donated to one of the guest associations at the event.
- 17:15 h – Race for retirees
15 minutes after the start of the professional race, a 500m race for retirees begins at the same start, who also receive a starting package and a medal. - 19:00 h – Concert by Croatian musicians
